Synthpop / Synthwave Album – gerasin (2026)
afterimage
afterimage was written as an exploration of emotional residue — the feeling that remains after a moment ends, when memory continues without the reality that created it.
The album moves through a sequence of connected states, where familiarity, tension, and perception shift over time without fully resolving. Rather than telling a single story, each track exists as part of a larger emotional progression that unfolds gradually and intentionally.

Behind The Sound
afterimage was designed as a continuous emotional sequence rather than a collection of separate tracks. Each piece holds a specific role within a larger progression.
The album begins in a state of familiarity and ease, where everything feels natural and unquestioned. As it unfolds, subtle fractures begin to appear beneath the surface. These shifts are not abrupt — they emerge through contrast, where calm moments carry underlying tension.
Certain tracks share similar environments, pacing, and imagery, but their meaning changes depending on where they exist in the sequence. What feels safe in one moment may feel controlled or uncertain in another. This intentional overlap creates a sense of recognition without clarity.
The structure follows a precise arc: entry, comfort, fracture, illusion, shift, truth, and permanence. The final state does not resolve everything — it remains, as an imprint of everything that came before.
